My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Was the cedar treated? If so what was used and if not how will you expect it to weather?

    Cedar does need to be treated. We didn't treat this one, as we don't come back to do any staining. That is up to our clients to maintain.

    I’m thinking of putting cedar under my deck also. Leaning towards not staining it and just let it weather. Don’t know if it will turn grey since not exposed to sun
