I just planted a semi-dwarf trumpet vine next to a chain link fence. It grows to only 5 feet. It is attached to a small wooden trellis that came with the plant, so I will have to remove it at some point. Will this vine just attach itself to my fence on its own, or will it need to be tied to the fence somehow?
