NOT!!! a peanut pumpkin....

Good afternoon all, i bought seeds off the net, peanut pumpkin....I revived 5 seeds...planted them in two separate pots in the house. planted the two pots outside. one set of vines produced one peanut pumpkin, it is nice and peanutty... the other vine produced this monster, anyone have any clue or hint what this guy is???

I grew some of these last year, but I don't remember the name. If I still have my seed packet, I'll let you know. I like the peanut pumpkins, too!

Okay, I looked at my seed packet and they are called World of Color pumpkins. They come in a variety of colors from one seed packet--The ones I grew looked like yours.

No, I fed it to the deer sometime in November. The only pumpkin I ate last year were the peanut pumpkins.

The peanut pumpkins are very good. I used them for Thanksgiving pies. They also make cute mummy pumpkins for Halloween so you don't have to cut into them.
