Teak Patio Table

We just purchased a new teak outdoor patio table. We held off on purchasing matching teak chairs because we were hoping to find chairs that were a little more fun and budget conscious. Any suggestions??

Now would be the time to be searching for markdowns and sale prices, considering the summer is almost over! Most stores will be starting to move in their winter collections and marking down anything they won't be keeping for next season. Start looking in the sale/clearance sections at your favorite stores, you may be able to find a bargain!

First of all, can I say something? I am going to give it to you straight and tell you how it is with you and that table of yours so sit down for a second and listen up. Oh wait, you can't sit down. You don't have any chairs! Ok honey you are going to have to stand. Here it comes: I LOVE THAT TABLE. You feeling me? L.O.V.E. That's real. Is that teak? You bet your butt it is. I can tell from here. And it is beautiful. So let's take a moment with that. That's a really special table for you and you have some good times ahead. A lot of good meals and nice compliments coming at you. You did a great job so take a moment and appreciate that. Don't be so quick to run off and get chairs SLOW DOWN. You did something good, you feel me? Accept the compliment for a sec. Take a seat and check down and reflect. Oh right, no seats. Ok but really it like that white lady said, now is the time. Like she said, if you are looking for chairs, "now is the time to be searching" and I couldn't disagree less. It's really some solid advice. Looking for something? START SEARCHING. And you can lift your head up and feel good about yourself. You didn't come home with no plastic wrongness from Sears, did you? OH HECK NO. You sucker up into some broke and wobbily slab from Home Depot? TAKE IT BACK. You have done something good here today. Teak gonna treat you right, regardless of which chairs are set around it. So don't even. Let me tell you something though, hold up. You know you are going to have to take care of that teak right? You can't just neglect it. You are going to have to oil it up to protect it from the sun, just like your man's shoulders. Take care of it right. For TEAK care, you must TAKE care. See if you ever forget you just rearrange the letters and off you go. Rub that oil and keep it strong and beautiful just like your man's shoulders, mm hmmm. But now its time to be straight, you hear me: When it comes to style, teak is bleak. It's all bland and beige and tongue-depressing. Open up and say Blah. Let me tell you something. Beige is not the new black, despite what the republicans may be hoping. Teak is weak. But don't you fret. You did good, honey, you got a great table and you done right this far But what you need is to find some nice chairs to bring out the emotion inside the teak. So start searching is my advice too. And maybe you'll find something. A little color. Something with some soul, some positive vibes. A little bit of rouge. Some lime. Some citrus. Some salmon. Some avocado. Some honeysuckle. Some blush. Some emerald. Some chartruese. Something that says "You are home" Something that says "It is summertime and I am comfortable, come let me hold you." Something like this. Walmart family 3-pack. Daddy ain' comin' home series. $97
