Hey Tony, your plant looks great, especially the caudex. It also looks like the new growth wlll try to correct their orientation after the branches have been wired. This has very interesting possibilities. Thanks for showing this.

That is a very lush plant, Lorraine. How many branches does it have? The pot you have is also perfect for what Tony is suggesting, since it has a lip or whatever you call that thing around the rim.

A wire were tied around the pot at the top to give the wire support. I mean slowly by bringing down the branches and not too much at any one time. It might break the branch.

Do you use anything to protect the soft wood from the wire? Or is the wire just a very thick gage?

Lorraine miller, I live in tropical Malaysia and we have sunshine all year round. The wire I use were those use for garden and plastic bag disposal green type which is thin.

This is another adenium which I have also wire the branches down. It has been prune again after the fisrt picture.

All the wires will be remove when the branches are stable.

Have had rain every day for almost a month, beginning to wonder if that is why the adenium above got aphids, which I ended up literally using my fingers to try to remove. I tried the chemical solution, the spraying, it was as if nothing removed these nasty little devils, so I useful my fingers. I kept the plant out of the Sun, with the rain it's been very little of that. Then I spray hosed again, not sure if I got them all. Then I noticed spots on the plant. I don't know what happened still learning.

I don't see any right now and I don't see any on my other plants. Should I bring the plants in and let them dry out? Did the plant get the aphids because of so much rain. I don't understand why this happened I only put the solution of dawn, olive oil, and water, and sprayed in the house, not in the sun. Weird. Should

Lorainne I would rinse again to make sure the chemicals are gone and remove the damaged leaves.

I did remove all the leaves. We have so much rain I just left it out side.
