Watering and Fertilizing

Pineapple plants thrive when watered lightly about once a week. Check the soil every few days and water when it's dry. I think these questions are well covered in the link I posted on pineapples.

Pineapples are mostly water, and they grow best in places that get a good amount of rain. I water mine every other day.

when you do a search on how to grow pineapple alot of them help pages say not to over water them thats why i was wondering cause i live in florida and this year we been getting alot of rain

I'm in Florida too, and mine get root rot very easy. I generally never water, unless they turn red and fold their leaves.

They will be fine as long as you planted in a fast draining soil and the roots aren't waterlogged
