Fantastic! I am so glad you were able to get these. Looking at Jericson's finally did you in, huh Rick? Both are mighty trees, the first has so many branches and the 2nd one appears to have a silver caudex. Love the way you have them staged, too. These are going to draw a crowd! Congrats you have been waiting a long time for these.

Beautiful trees. I bet you're ecstatic about the new additions. Since they are x golden crown will they have the yellow leaves? Or am I thinking of another golden something? Maybe it was golden dragon.

I guess it's too late to ask what the roots looked like. Those look massive, Rick. Congratulations.

Pagan, it is something that I don't think about (taking a photo of prior to planting). Root systems where of natural growth, not root trained.

Nicholas, I do not think they have golden leaves, but I could be wrong. May be lighter in color possibly.

I am really liking these. Rinoa sent me a photo of them prior to sending so that I could see what I would be getting. Really like that approach. In some regards, if we could pick even the grafted plants based on the root stock (causex) would be a good thing.

They are larger than what I expected.

May I ask what all is involved in ordering from Rinoa from the US other than the ordering process itself. I understand there are permits and such involved. Does it simply get delivered to your house or are there further steps after ordering. My dad keeps reminding me he owes me a birthday gift. He thinks I'm crazy for wanting to order a plant from the other side of the planet haha.

nice one rick, i like the first one, those branches looks like they are gonna be sturdy, you can try to pull them down with wire, and make her like an umbrella, were you able to choose trees? or its random

Rick, Those are stunning. Gosh I almost bought one but chickened out looking at the price. Darn I wish I would have bit the bullet now. My last order of the year will be here from Rinoa in a couple weeks.
