Just in case anyone else encounters similar problems, my computer son just installed Chrome browser, and now I can post pictures. Before I was using the IE browser--which I've used for years and never before had any problems posting pictures while using it. Oh, well! Whatever works!

Kate, I just had the same problem. Am using IE and the 'Photo' insert isn't working anymore for me either but the 'Houzz Photo' is working. Also might be a little easier because you can drag'n drop with it.

Microsoft will slowly phase out the support (patches and security updates) of IE and will use the new browser called Edge that comes with Windows 10 so there will be more things that won't work correctly with IE. Chrome is one of the good alternatives right now. Helen

I heard back from the tech support people at Houzz. Their advice for the IE browser problem: reset your browser by clearing history and cache then reopening. I will try that and let you know how it works after I manage to grab my computer son and get him to show me how to do that. : )

Thank you, bayarea_girl, for that info about Windows 10. I guess I might as well go ahead and add it to my computer. They keep sending me messages about it, but I've ignored them--out of sheer laziness. Didn't want to be bothered by having to learn how to use it. But it is evidently time.

Out of curiosity, I'm trying the Houzz Photo button and see if it works for me.
