Are you saying that some of the wires are needed for the two speakers sitting on the floor but the rest are not needed? If they are not needed, why not cut them off or stuff them back into the wall. Could the speakers be placed somewhere else and are the speakers you have wireless, if so they can go anywhere. Does the top of your large piece of furniture have a "lip" on it so you could place the speakers down into the top so they would not show. Before cutting anything, make sure the wires are not 110v. My husband has dealt with this kind of thing many times for me because I am anal about things "looking" perfect and I hate a jumble of wires showing.

I'm having a hard time imagining what your Sono speakers are doing right there on the floor. I see several options:

1. rewire your Sonos by extending the wires to go to a more appropriate place

2. add a small table, cabinet etc right there for your Sonos to hang out on if you don't know how to or can't extend your cables to the Sonos

3. all the rest of the cables if not needed I would definitely NOT cut them but put them back in the wall

4. cover the wall with a Split Plate with Flexible Opening, similar to one seen here: https://goo.gl/mlW9Dm
