Can this product be used for a frameless sliding shower door? How does the base (floor) rail work?

Can the rod be customized to fit the lenght of the shower?

    The main function of this hardware is not for shower doors, however if you choose to do that it is possible since the hardware is designed for glass doors. There is no bottom rail on this model. The door hangs on the rollers which slide on the rail at the top of the door. The rod comes in 2meter length and is stainless steel. It can be cut to customize with the right equipment.
