I am planning to paint my dated oak cabinets. I received an estimate for professional painting them but he uses lacquer. I am concerned that it will yellow over time. Does anyone have advice about whether white lacquer yellows and, if so, how long before they typically yellow? Or, will painting them myself using Benjamin Moore Advance paint will not yield yellowing over time? Thanks!
