where on the planet are you located? If you Google "vermicomposting worms for sale" you'll get plenty of hits. Generally, they will not ship to high heat locations, like Phoenix, Las Vegas, etc in summer.

I got my worms at a fishing supply store not too far from home. Cup of two dozen for a little over $3, I got two. Budget wouldn't let me order worms by the pound, but that's okay: my worms are still alive, healthy, and multiplying. They even toughed it out when conditions in my bucket bin went bad, and I deliberately ignored it thinking the worms might be able to sort it out better than I could (they did).
