The most used white for cabinets is BM white dove, BM makes many white but white dove is the most used

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, they are new cabinets and Kith (the manufacturer) only makes Bright White and Alabaster White so I don't have much choice. Out of the two, any suggestions? Is Alabaster close to BM white dove? I just am worried that the bright white will be too bright or the Alabaster might have a dull, greyish tint.

I would get him to paint you samples of each ,on the same type wood he will be using ,then prop it in the space for a day or two and decide which one works best in the space, I love white over alabaster myself

I have been on this app for years ,it just seams like most white kitchens I research on hear use that, then in almost every white dilemma it is suggested and then used, I also read it at the BM paint center that it was the most used for kitchen cabinets,just an observation by a long time houzz user

Thank you! They just ordered my cabinets today--I chose Alabaster. There was only three choices of white--bright white, Alabaster, or Antique White. I am happy with my choice. I think it will be a warmer shade of white. Many thanks for your help!

Ironically, I am having my cherry kitchen cabinets painted right at this moment. We only had them for 2 years, but it was just too dark.
I chose BM Chantilly White over the Dove. I took poster board and painted one with Chantilly the other with dove. I moved them around during the day and night....amazing how lighting can change these colors. For me, Dove had yellow overtones and the Chantilly has blue/gray overtones.

Since I only had the three choices with the cabinet company, I had to go with the Alabaster (but I also painted a board and it looked great). Please post a picture when you are done. I would love to see your beautiful kitchen. Again, thanks for the help! As you can probably tell, I am anxious to get the kitchen finished and also nervous about my choice of white. I'll know in three weeks. I also realized that the wall in my computer room is Alabaster. The room has earthy wood tones and it looks great so I am sure the cabinets will too. (hoping).

I wasn't disagreeing. I had just gotten hopeful BM/Houzz had posted stats like that somewhere. Most popular colors for br, entry, cabinets, etc. I'm sure the collection method wouldn't be perfect, but it'd still be interesting.

Have your Alabaster Kith cabinets arrived? I am leaning towards that same Color, and would love to hear your thoughts. Bright white worries that it might be bright and cold/sterile, and the antique White is too yellow-ish.

ur island hasn't been installed yet, but I will post a picture in a few days. Hope the pictures help you with your decision. Somehow the narrative got cut off. It should have said our butcher block island hasn't been installed yet. Our lights are LED high hats which does effect the lighting. Picture 2 and 3 is in the morning without lights...just sunlight from the Windows. Pictures 2 and 4 are early evening with lights on.

The granite is dessert brown but sometimes takes on a greyish look because of the stainless appliances and cabinet pulls.

I'm considering Alabaster as well. Have you been able to match trim paint color in your kitchen with this? Is so, what color paint and manufacturer?

The trim around the windows and all trim and molding is SW alabaster paint. It is a little lighter than the cabinets but I am pleased with it and wanted a little difference. I brought in a piece of under cabinet molding and Sherwin Williams matched it for me for a few places I needed an exact match. You can compare the cabinet co alabaster shelves by the window to the SW alabaster painted window trim (not cabinet matched) and molding. Hope this helped.

I had alabaster installed and really disliked it. Our house is a bit artsy and the creamy off white color did not go with our style- Also, the tops and bottoms looked so different in color, top looking really yellow, bottom lighter. We are having our newly installed cabinets painted a brighter shade of white. The moldings did not match and the kitchen looked old fashion in my opinion. The bright white looks clean and crisp and depending on your backsplash and decorations, not cold or too stark. Cant wait to have them finished! These are pics of my alabaster before painting. Backsplash is not completed, that black background is paper protection - even off, they look so different and yellowish -

if you paint your walls a soft warm gray like bm classic gray the tones would match much better...can still look arty
