Who am I?

I really don't have any idea but am going to try Jean Piat.

    I'll bite: Heart of Gold?

Nope. Neither one of those. One is the right class, and the other is from the right country. And this one is newer than both.

    Wildfire?

Gettin' closer. It is a J&P rose, but newer.

    Fragrant Keepsake?

    Or maybe Summer Nights?

SUMMER NIGHTS it is! Your turn Sharlene.

Love the pink edges on it.

Right, before I hit the hay, here's one that shouldn't be difficult:)

    Nighty-night - Sharlene

    Baby Blanket?

No, this rose is a little older,

To be exact it was bred in 1981 - anyone up for a guess?

    Sharlene

    Maybe BONICA?

    your right Beth, it's Bonica

    Oh ok.

    Alrighty then... who am I?

    Sisters at Heart?

Nope. It's not a floribunda. It's a slightly older HT.

    King's Macc?

Seil, I was also thinking Kings's Macc - it was the closest I could find but mine looks very different at the moment. Will have to wait and see what the verdict is:)

    Sharlene

Nope KINGS MACC is way more pale apricot. This is an "orange-pink" HT from the US and it's was intro'd over 30yrs ago.

    Arizona?

    Nope. Hybridizer is Perry.

no one else with a suggestion? Think I have it with that clue :)

I didn't want to hog it since I gave the last guess so I was waiting to see if someone else would chime in. If you think you know it go ahead!

Oh well, really seems like, for the most part, only the three of us playing.

    Beth, is it Stokes?

I've tried, but haven't heard of most of the roses! LOL!

I'm faithfully watching just don't quite have the knowledge the rest of you experts have!

Definitely don't consider myself an expert! Well maybe I am slowly becomming an expert at researching - lol!!!

HMF is a wonderful source and I find out so much about all sorts of roses while looking for the ones posted here. I love the challenge!

    Yup, it's STOKES!

I'm not an expert either but I spend lots of time doing searches on HMF too. Like Sharlene said, while searching for a NTRG rose I learn all kinds of interesting things.

    Oh, that's a given, lol!

Since we've gone widely off topic here I think I'll jump in a post a new but I'm going to start a new thread too. This one is plenty long enough. So look for NTRG #9!

I thought it was Sharlene's turn.

No Problem if Seil jumps in but Seil, why the new thread? This one only has 33 Posts - in comparison to the others it is really short! And changing the name of the thread - I might be slow but it took me a minute to figure out what NTRG was!

No matter - we can carry on with your NTRG#9 post

    Sharlene

Yeah, I don't understand why the new post? This was a small one. Oh well...

Oops! I actually was thinking of starting a new thread for the Uno game and did it on this one by mistake! But since I already started #9 please go over there and make a guess!

Oh, that's what NTRG #9 meant. At first, I thought it was a breeder code. For clarity's sake, I started a new thread with the full title, Name That Rose Game 9.
