Space above bed dilemma.

Would a 30" round starburst mirror be too large above our king sized bed? I really do love the styles of starburst mirrors.
Any other suggestions? Thanks

You could bring home two sizes/styles and see how you feel - a starburst would be nice there. The bed feels off/not centred by being in front of the window..can it be moved to the right?

Are you thinking something like this? This would look nice with your decor.

Yes.....that's the idea. My concern was the size so that photo helps. Thank you.

I had time to browse, hope that's ok. 1st comes in other colors...

Too-shiny [?] organic 2nd reminds me of your branch look, and not too modern [but don't know your room]:

Is it possible to move your bed more to the right so the window is not impeding behind the headboard? Your headboard is enough, no mirror needed.

The bed will always be off center. I know it's too big for the room......but it is. Our queen size looked better, but I had to go for comfort.

Here is what I'm thinking of placing above the bed.

Is it bronzed/yellowed? Nice petal shape. Are your walls yellowish?

I can't help it - seems muted yellow and even the shape detracts from delicate Scandinavian/ folksy nature pattern.... on another wall perhaps?

    Walls are a taupe/beige.

Finish on the mirror is distressed colored bronze, gold and copper.

Oh no. I'm not a 'folksy' kind of person. I'll try another design.

Thank you.------I should have taken the photo with the light off. That's the yellow you're seeing.

    I appreciate your input.

It would seem ideal with earth tones... imo. Is your bedding a light robin's egg blue/ turquoise? I was referring to your bedding which has a light, informal design [not mirror if this matters].

Walls have no yellow tone, but are beige... do you like canvas art at all? You could easily mix in what you like...

Bedding is more towards turquoise. I do change that with the seasons. I did have a wonderful canvas art-piece there when I had the queen bed. It was just too square with the elongated lines of the headboard. Also, the headboard has hammered tacks in the same tones as the pedal mirror.

    Buy and try it!

I often feel disadvantaged not being able to see a room and all the owner sees...

I appreciate all these comments. Sometimes these things overwhelm me. In the scheme of life, it really isn't important, and it can be changed. It's the added work in returning that I don't care to do. But......who does like returning? Lol

Would of, could of, should of, written to this wonderful website sooner. This is my first time doing this and I had no idea how helpful everyone is.
    Thank you for your help.

Oh well since you mention that! haha... so many are here to help... you can post more photos of your room if you want.

I like seeing a dresser or mirror frame in your blue / lovely.

I'm reverse of that. More tones of blue/green, browns and wheat colors.

As an update-----we live by the water therefore seagulls and the beach give us a peaceful feeling. After at least 15 holes in the wall ( I tried round mirrors, 3 smaller mirrors, picture frames etc.) nothing was appealing to me.
I found this print and loved it. My concern was the size.
Do you think it's ok? I seem to need approval. Lol
    Thanks.
