Wishlist Hoya

So I'm not planing on getting any more very soon (like that ever works when we tell ourselves that) but i was thinking about Hoya i'd like in the future. can someone give me tips our advice on the short list?

fish tail hoya: havent seen this one in person, but i love the pictures

Hoya finlaysonii: again just from pictures i love the colors and patters on the leaves

hoya spartioides: i love the look of this thing, I saw one on a vacation in AZ but at the time had no idea what it was. i have no idea where to get one

hoya kerrii variegata: I'll probably have to trim the flowers when they get drippy... i suppose i could practice drying them.

I like fairly easy Hoya with interesting leaves. I currently have:

Established:

Hoya Carnosa (?)
Carnosa Varigata KP
Compacta Varigata
Australis tenuipes

Cuttings:

Australis Mrs G
Curttissii
Lacunosa
Diversifolia

I have the fishtail hoya and it is very beautiful. I put mine in the sun and the leaves burned so i had to trim many off. It will develop flower buds for me but the never mature.

I also went back and brought that hoya brevialata they had at home depot or $10 bucks. lol

I have also recently seen the variegated kerri on ebay for sale.

Of the ones you mention, I'd choose any in the finlaysonii group. The leaf patterns are outstanding. Polyneura was always a challenge for me, so I don't grow it anymore. I'm a fan of all the kerriis.

I have fallen in love with H. limoniaca, not the most interesting but it grows great and I love the waxy look of the leaves. The pubycalyx group grows ridiculously well too, and Pink Silver has some very pretty leaves. On my nifty leaves wish list is H. vitelinoides, macrophylla pot of gold, and fingers crossed i don't kill my curtissii cutting off. I really love polyneura, and also wanting to get lockii and multiflora. I love the diversity in this genus and want my collection to reflect it as much as possible.

Yeah I'm praying I don't kill my curtissii as well, the compact sample the cat knocked off the same day I planted the others has rooted but then it didn't go through the mail

I really want to try polyneura, but am afraid to from all the comments I've read online about them being difficult. I have Pink Silver and like it so far. (Only had it a week, so can't say what the future holds for it, but I'm hopeful). I have carnosa, and it's super easy. I have variegated kentiana that I also got a week ago. I also have obovata (supposed to be very easy) and mathilde. Don't know how that will go.

Should I let the curtissii cutting out of the humid grow box? I heard it's not a fan of being damp....

Stacy, how are your curtissii cuttings doing?

So far so good, I shifted them so they have better drainage.
