I planted a spruce tree about 5 feet tall and ever since there are wasps just flying around it almost like their mesmerized by the tree. They may land briefly then off again but just hovering over the tree. I don't see a nest. It's difficult to properly water my tree as there are so many wasps on the tree. I tried putting a paperbag on the tree and it did nothing. I dont know what they're doing and why that tree. There was no wasps on it when we bought it and there's many trees next to it they're not going near those.
