The problem I have first started when it felt down and the new stem broke. It is heathy but I start to grow too late in the summer, so it cannot complete the growth before winter. So I put them under a lamp to make the summer longer. I would like to show you my plants in order to have the right advises.

My other Dendrobium witch is the florist dendro. is doing fine. I have learn recently that those dendrobiums witch love hot températures needs a dry period in the winter, before blooming. I used to water them all year long and this cause the leaves to turn yellow and fall down.

I also found a picture on internet called Dendro. Anna Green that look very much like mine.

According to the University of google Celadon is describing a type of decorative pot.

You have a hardcane/phal type Dendrobium which is probably much easier to grow in a well lit centrally heated home in zone 4b than here.

It depends on what you mean by Hot Temperatures. What the "Phal" Type Den doesn't like is cold and damp in winter which certainly isn't going to happen in your home in zone 4b.

I haven't tried growing them inside here because the house is not centrally heated and if it gets a bit cold you just put on extra layers of clothing. But, welcome to the wonderful complicated world of orchid growing .

Have a look at the pic. in the link. It is a Phal. Type Den from my collection and it is cold tolerant in winter growing in a glass-house down to about 5C on a few winter nights.

beautyfull and many flowers ! . I cannot clearly see the poles. They seem shorter, but just behind I see 2 buds of the type of dendro I have. This one is quite easy to grow because it grows fast, when its the time. Thanks for all your comments. I may participate to the orchid show in montreal. Its the eastern canada orchid show (ECOS2015).
