Take babysteps . Depends on your taste as well as budget. If you don't care for your white kitchen appliances they can be replaced ( but they aren't bad). A large colorful area rug in the dining area off the kitchen will help define your eating space. Same for living room- large area rugs in one color will help soften that tile.

The second bathroom picture is ok. The first bathroom (picture) would benefit from a new vanity. You can remove the glass door on the shower ( and track) if you don't like it. And you can have your tub re-glazed , best by a pro.

Thank you for your comments! The colorful area rugs are a great idea! And yes, I was going to either paint epoxy over the vanity and paint the doors. Depending on cost to replace the vanity.

I HATE the tile in the living area. There are hardwoods upstairs, but those have some damage and do need some repair.

Yes I agree the oak has to go. I won't have the $$ to replace them so I will need to repaint them, and replace the hardware. I can't decide on the colors though because of that horrible pink tile counters and backsplash. Do you have any suggestion?

The appliances are new, so although I prefer stainless I will keep them for now.

As for the fireplace, replacing the brick or retiling is out for right now so I think I will have to paint it. I want to do my walls in "Light French Grey" with white trim, so I might paint the fire place white or even a darker shade of grey... Im not sure

So sadly I am unable to upload photos (no idea why) but I played around on the Sherwin Williams paint color visualizer. There you can upload a picture of your kitchen and 'paint' the cabinets. It's a learning curve but worth it . I found 3 paint colors that lessened or complimented the pinkish tile color : SW Tiki Hut , SW Grounded and SW Cobble Brown. Of the three I liked Tiki Hut the best ( more of a gray brown). I tried whites, tans, grays, blues in all hues but none worked. I also painted your room the Behr Light French Grey. From the Behr paint visualizer, grays and blacks did not seem to work for the fireplace. I did find Coco Malt ( sort of a beige) and it was better. Not too dark , not too light.

As for the small bathroom vanity , you can buy a new one for under $300 at Home Depot etc. Here is a white one with a separate mirror for $250. Would help to change the vibe of that bathroom.
