I love the look, but, is cleaning it a problem? what about algae?

interested in the stone wall; what kind of material is used to "grout"? How do you keep that clean as well? Where do you purchase the stone?

I too am interested in the answer to this question, particularly, do you need to use a special cleaning fluid because of the stone material being frequently exposed to moisture.

I got a feeling they didn't think that far ahead re: how to clean/maintain it :( The stone and tile would stand up to water okay, but seems like soap scum and detergents would have adverse affects. Perhaps some kind of clear coat/polyurethane could be sprayed over it to protect it and keep make it less porous?
