I have used the paint color Sea salt in my own home and I absolutely loved it...something to consider regarding the counter top material and color, the cabinets will be white, the tile in the shower has the Carrara marble look with the grey veining, and then white and grey quartz on the vanity top..for a little contrast is it an option to do a soft grey as the color on the vanity base? The counter top sample you show above looks like vetro stone, absolutely gorgeous material. If this is your long term home, you need to do what you love and forget re-sale- someone else can worry when your gone

Sometimes it is hard to tell the correct colour from photos but from what I can see the counter top showing above is casting creams and bluish hues. The marble tile you have chosen for your shower looks quite white with warm grey veining. I like things to be a little more harmonious and would suggest sticking to a monochromatic colour palette with your tiles and counter. I would choose a countertop that has the same hues as your shower and floor tiles. These are bigger renovations if you do not like what you end up with, whereas paint is a very simple and much cheaper thing to change.

I have Silestone lagoon ...that might look good.

It is very hard to mix and match marbles. I have clients that run into that issue all the time. Especially with the grey background that carrera carries. I would almost have the vanity a solid grey to compliment the veins in the tile. This way, the tile is your "wow" factor. Silestone has great greys along with Caesarstone.

I would stay away from recycled glass. It can get pretty pricy... Plus, if it chips you would need it repaired asap due to the high risk of the glass cutting someone.

We produce the recycled glass tops too. There is a very slight danger of chipping, we also do repairs in that case. Perhaps you could use some smaller glass chips if you are concerned about getting tired of the design. This make it more subtle, but still unique.
