There is a woman in Canada that grows Plumies and Adeniums. She sent me a note, as she had an order of Plumeria come in for a group buy and they came in without any tags. She had this huge number of plants. Knew what they had ordered, but could not tell when they arrived. Could not return them. Offered some to me, but I just do not have the room and I have not had much luck with them. Getting them to bloom and always get Mites for me.

Rick, totally understand. I love plumeria but space is a complete issue. Is why I love adeniums. Get more bang for the buck, so to speak, space wise.

Phil, I totally agree. And had lunch with some friends yesterday and gave my friend a lot of these seeds. She was super excited and couldn't wait to get home to get them started. Made me feel great to put a smile on someone's face. Especially when it involves something someone is becoming passionate about.

Tracy, I still have one seed pod holding out on opening. But I'm so happy about these four. Next year I'm going to try to pollinate some although this years attempts didn't produce. Those were crossed by some helpers without my knowledge. I had either got my tags from Ebay or Amazon. Can't remember. I had got two boxes a little over a year ago so I could share some with my sister.

Oh, and the one you like on the far left I am thinking it's an arabicum hybrid. I'll have a slight better idea when I see leaves but judging from the caudex and how it's branched seems to be more arabicum than obesum.

Hi Roger, I have a new greenhouse, and I'm wondering what temps you run year round? Do you heat or cool? I have 3 auto vents, but my greenhouse is going up to 100 here in southeastern New Mexico. I'm sure I'll need to heat in winter, too.

Hi Plantmanagerkaren in summer I take everything out it gets to hot and cost a lot to cool in winter it never falls below 60 but even in winter I have to run swamp cooler its harder to keep cool than heated I live in San Angelo, Texas so our temp is not much difference in winter I run 4 electric and 2gas heaters you need fans to move air it's taken several years but mine runs its self you just set everything where you won't it and leave it alone it heats at 60 and cools at 80 I don't use lights because I have full sun one part I have sun screen up where I keep my shade plants it's going to be a learning experience the first year I will try to help in any way I can just let me know

Thanks for the details, Roger. I appreciate it. I have solar for a fan and a holding pond waterfall, but I'm going to have to add heating and cooling if I plan to use it all year. I had hoped to avoid that! I have mostly tropicals like Hibiscus, Plumeria, and my one and only Adenium who will have company soon! :)

Just checking in. Heading to my sister's for the weekend. Much needed fun in the sun at the beach on a lazy island. YAY! Oh, and I'll be keeping an eye out for plumeria and hope I can ask for cuttings. Anyway...

So, I gave my local friend some of those seeds and she was super excited to give them a try. She was happy to report to me some sprouted! I think she's now addicted to adenium seeds.

Also, all those acquired adeniums are loving their new home. Leaves are sprouting. I want to graft onto the one that lost it's graft but I feel it's too late in the season. A lot of my other adeniums are already starting to drop leaves. However, I have a couple of 3 year grown from seeds pushing out some bloom buds. Can't wait for that and hope they don't abort. And, also, have about 4 adeniums trying to have a third bloom cycle this year. Provided they don't abort.
