My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    This island countertop is 3/8" stainless steel. It was fairly rough out of the mill so the builder had to hand grind and polish it for a week.

    Hi there. We're trying to do 1cm countertops with an overhang like this. How is it supported from underneath or Is the stainless strong enough at that thickness

    The stainless in this application was self supporting. It depends on how far it extends and is worth doing a test mock up to make sure everything works right to minimize deflection.
