My Jeannie Moragne is a Vigorous Grower with Huge Leaves bought it at Florida Colors has 1 Inflo its a Grafted Plant, I really like the over sized Leaves !

I had a Jeannie Moragne, Jr. that grew quite tall. Never bloomed well for me.

I'm only speculating, but I suspect that when the Moragne hybrids were hybridized and selected, Bill Moragne didn't really breed for compact size. He probably wasn't planning on people from cooler climates growing these in pots! His main concern was probably bloom size and color.

I have been told that Bill is best grafted as it is really hard to root.

I purchased a grafted Bill Moragne from Brad. I want to experience the Bill's grape Kool-Aid fragrance! The description said it was grafted by Kukiat and it was the last remaining plant. In the same order, I bought a rooted Jeannie Moragne (fell in love with all the large flowers posted on this website).

I predict either I'm going to prune like crazy or gift them to my sister who has space to grow them.

Tdogdad is always saying plumeria plants will eventually become trees. Maybe I need a tattoo to remind myself this. :P

Jungle Jacks Nirvana that I purchased this year has a strong grape cool aid scent as well....maybe grape jelly... :-)
