sometimes it is so disheartening to look at our desert soil and realize how badly it needs organic material. I have a fenced yard with two huge ficus trees. Ficus trees, bless their water lovin hearts... drop their leaves.. all day every day. Mine get plenty of water. My yard is full of dead, dry, cracklin leaves and I'm going to rake them up in the next couple of weeks. There are no weeds, no dog poop, no insecticide has been used.. I hate to throw away soil amendments.. if someone would drive a pickup truck to my home near 35 ave and thunderbird rd. near the frys electronics store.. I'd dump barrels of leaves in your truck and you could cover it with a tarp, because the leaves all blow out as you drive away. I have done this before and found that people will say they will come get them, but never show up... so if you want my leaves.. please email me and I'll make an appointment with you to hand 'em over..
