This wall plaque came with our house and I've always wondered who she is. It's made of an aluminum type metal, or some alloy, lightweight and does not rust.

The people who owned the house before us traveled all over the world and I'm assuming they brought it home from some trip.

I've looked up some possibilities and two that seem to fit are Guanyin (or Kuanyin) the Chinese goddess of mercy and Bai Mudan (White Peony) a courtesan who became a goddess later. Or she could be someone entirely different.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
