I have two small shrubs growing on a trail in my yard (north-central Utah). They grow in shade, are attractive to bees when they are in bloom, and each has berries (one blue (round), one pinkish red (elliptical)). They are very xeric, I never water them. Soil is clay, quite alkaline. Neither bush is very tall (3-4 feet), but we do clip them. Any insights would be great!
