I'm not a fan of the recent trend of floor to ceiling white subway tile. It reminds me of being in a large public bathroom or in the actual subway. My taste aside, you did a good job.

Hi everyone, thank you so much for all your lovely comments! I am so thrilled that you like our transformation. To answer a few questions:
Our countertops are real granite, it's called Viscon White which comes from an Indian desert. We chose it because it's pattern is similar to marble but less porous which decreases the chances of the top getting stains. We personally went and chose it from a granite importer Granitec in our area. I have attached a photo of our slab that we chose before it got cut down to size.

The cupboards I drew up myself and then we worked with a kitchen installer to help bring them to life. Our cabinets are wrapped in a black wood grain wrapping and we added in a embossed shaker border effect around the edges for a little more detail. In real life it's beautiful how when the light catches the cabinets you can see the wood grain and shadows of the embossing. The little details that make a big difference as opposed to just plain black smooth wrapping
