I bought a Black Jack fig tree last month. It had green figs on it. We put it in the ground right away. It is still producing new fruit. Has anyone had this experience; a tree that keeps making fruit? It's been a weird summer. my apple and cherry trees starting blooming again as well.

Second question: will the already good sized green figs get ripe?
