So, the dilution rate you used was definitely adequate. One question-did you coat the lower 15 inches or so, including root flare area ? Another Q-did you apply to trees still having "smooth" or juvenile bark, as opposed to more mature, this obviously applying to the Norway maples and not the Euonymous? It seems that total plant death can indeed take some time-for some species under some conditions. I guess what I'm trying to say is, what you are seeing might be totally normal for the species/conditions/time of year. Basal bark using Triclopyr is a proven thing, no doubt about that, but there is significant variation in effectiveness and timing, as well as time to target plant death, among different species, and varying weather, time of year, and other factors. I'm using a lot of words to say, I think you'll be okay. It can take a while, depending on a host of factors.
