Blooming phals: not so complex hybrids!

These I got not so long ago and in the time Ive had them, many have spiked and bloomed, with many more to come!

This one above I'm not sure if I was given the correct plant! Still pretty though :)

This above one is a NOID I got from trader joes a while ago. It sent out another spike. I just LOVE this orchid. Slight yet pure perfumey sweet scent in the morning, those thin rings, the pinkness at the center and of course those peloric petals!

I have that Trader Joe's NOID too! And I love it as well. Waiting patiently for it to spike this year....

The one in question (Chienlung Happy Girl) looks a lot like "Happy Eagle", so IMO it could be correct. Also, If those are from Peter, I've always had good luck/accuracy with IDs for his phals.

Pretty blooms. I wish I had better luck growing phals. I have one of peter's that I'm nursing back to health, also a speciosa C1 cross.

Wow! I do see trader joes distributing lots of plants of the same hybrids. I wish I could get an id!

ill just assume that tag is correct but yes, I do we how it would be correct. I didn't get it too long ago so I might contact the seller just to ask him if they were grown from seed

I am so happy with these blooms! There as so many as well! :D

when I got this phal from Peter lin's eBay store, it had a single flower, which looks like the one pictured last. The 2 bottom sepals colored red. Then soon after it sent out a bud with all 3 sepals red like the majority of the blooms pictured, so I noted that it had unstable coloring of sepals. New discovery: most have all 3 sepals colored and even more exciting: one has a petal with coloring, not as solid! Guess it's coming from the speciosia! This is why I love to grow seed grown hybrids (especially compots) They are just so interesting!
