I especially like the shots with the water in the background. Belinda's Dream is my favorite.

Lovely pictures! I was thinking of getting Red Intuition but order Crazy Fashion instead and now I'm wondering if I made the wrong choice - Red Intuition looks fantastic!

Neil Diamond seems to be an exceptionally handsome stripe. Or is your photograph :-)

    Thank you everyone!

I must confess, I have about ten Belinda's Dream so it's hard not to find a bush that is impressive that day . The ones by the lake always put on a show.

Sharlene, I had to harass the good people of Cool Roses for two years to get my Red Intuition. They got so tired of me bugging them that Geoff sold me a double grafted one with Red AND Pink Intuition on it. So far both are growing well. I highly suggest your getting one for yourself.

Iris, it's a bit of both. The blooms are smallish because the plant is small. The upside is that it hasn't been stingy with its blooms.

Kublakan, those look great! Belinda's Dream looks good, they all do. I would sure like to try Medallion, it's so lovely. How do you like your Melodee Parfumme? I planted one this spring and it is very healthy, the blooms have been a disappointment though. Yours look good.

Sara, Melodee Parfumme (your spelling is more likely the right one, lol) grows like a weed in my garden. The blooms can be on the small side, but it puts out blooms all the time. My advice would be to snip off that center bud when you get that classic grandiflora spray. It goes a long way. As the plant matures it definitely gets better.

Okay Melodye, let me put you out of your agony, lol. I have four Broadways, all on Dr Huey and purchased at a Lowes on clearance. The bush is lack-luster in health and the blooms are not consistent. I would recommend Heart O Gold (sp?). It is much healthier with similar flowers. Perhaps I will change my mind when the cool weather comes, but for now I wouldn't recommend it.

    Whew, thanks Kublakan!

All I can say is Wow. Not only do I thank you for documenting the chili thrip damage on the other forum, but for sharing your beauties here. You give me hope. I am now spraying regularly. Hopefully, someday mine will be as beautiful.

I was under the impression Cool carries Red Intuition. Is it a special order, or did you want it before they started carrying it?

Thanks - as always your input is appreciated.

Cool Roses are the only folks, that I know of, that do the Intuitions (Red/Pink) on Fortuniana. Because of this they are always back ordered on it.

Years ago I was in your shoes Sharon and good folks on here were the ones that gave me hope/insight/information to one day grow roses. It is my hope that we all pay it forward. Some day you'll have the experience and will help others ;-)

Beautiful blooms!! My BROADWAY rarely looks like that. But I like that look. I love seeing the veining in roses!
