Lounge curtains

Hi,
We have change our lounge/dining room by replacing our tiles with laminated flooring and new paint color. My wife and I cannot come to agreement with what color or texture of curtains. Bearing in mind we are looking at a leather corner unit but the dining room table will have to stay for quite awhile. Please help.
