What is additional cost to get the leathered finish?

That’s a great question. The finishing process takes place at the factory. Generally, the price for a leather finish slab is about 5% higher than a polished slab. As we purchase this material overseas, prices may vary slightly from container to container depending upon the foreign exchange rate. Hope this answer helps. Thanks, Marble of the World.

Is leathered black absolute and brushed black absolute the same? If not, will it be ok to use the brushed one (sealed) on my countertop?

The leather finished material will cost you about 8 to 10 dollars high then the polished on honed finishing.

Purchased leathered black granite (have invoice) and they installed honed granite. The honed leaves every finger print, glass mark and bowls set on counter.

I'm contacting the installer and asking for them to replace the kitchen counter with the leather granite. Any suggestions how to approach this sticky situation?
