Hi everyone,

Life's been busy for me lately and not in the best way, but I wanted to stop in and see how you all were doing. I've also been feeling the Hoya Bug starting to bite and I'm on the hunt for some new cuttings. I hopefully will have a trade going on next month with GG, but am keeping an eye open for any possible trades, too. I was hoping to get some to share and send to my friend Michael (heavenlyfarm as he's known here on GW). Here's my wish list so far.

H. motoskei
H. javanica/multiflora
Lacunosa or any of it’s cultivars
Pubicalyx “Pink Silver, and “RHP”
H. mindorensis
H. obovata x carnosa “Majic”
H “Minibelle” or “Shepherdell”
H. “Sunrise”
H. onychoides

How's all of your plants doing? Mine have been doing exceptionally well all summer. LOTS of new growth and even some peduncles have formed, but no blooms.

Are there any new favorites you recently acquired or acquired this year? Feel free to share photos!

I can send you many cuttings of lacunosa. Probably enough for your friend Michael as well.

I'm pretty sure I can send rooted cuttings, if not plants.

What is RHP? Red hot pepper?

I have a Silver Pink that's growing out of control but it would be best if I waited til next year before taking cuttings off that one.

I just checked over my plants I can spare Michael a few cuttings from some of my bigger plants or plants that have more than one vine/significant growth. I can send him cuttings from these plants:

Verticillata (one)

Pubicalyx "Red Buttons" and "Black Dragon" (one of each)

Fungii (at least two or three cuttings from it)

Shepherdii (at least two cuttings from it)

Thank you, laticauda! I will be sending you an e-mail shortly :). Rooted cuttings will be just fine :).

RHP stands for Royal Hawaiian Purple, a very pretty variety of Hoya pubicalyx. It's also called Chimera.

Hey there Brad, I have both Lacunosa 'Snow Caps' in a 5" hanging pot and a 'Silver Pink' pubicalyx in a...four or five inch pot. Both of them I purchased from vendors online and both of them can go live with you/your friend if your interested. I can get some pics if you like too.
