This bloom has a really unique colored throat. I would say it is quite special. How old is the seedling?

I would be very happy with that. I am getting excited, my first seedlings that I raised myself are starting to bud now. Can't wait to see what I get. Am expecting a lot of pinks, whites and reds but my Mr Ko seedlings are also budding so I have my fingers crossed I get something good from them.

I hope you do, Christine. I see so much now how people are getting some pretty spectacular blooms from seed these days. They are definitely breaking ground.

Rick! I'm only now realizing how cool it is to have one of your seed-grown plants suddenly decide to bloom. Oh, oh! Did this come from your own hand-pollinating experiment, Rick?

my seedlings that are budding are 10 and 7 months old. The Mr Ko ones are the 7 month old ones.
