My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

material of passthrough bi-fold

I love the design of the bi-fold pass through between kitchen and dining room. please give me more details re. the material and construction. looks like it might be japanese. was it custom designed?

    Yes, we custom-designed it. It's made of walnut to match the rest of the cabinetry.

    The translucent material in the pass-through doors is frosted, interlaminated glass. You can see the kitchen in the other version of this photo with the doors open.

    Thank you! hope I can have it recreated ... love the vertical strips of walnut. The translucent and strips give it the Japanese feel.
