What is the best colour wall when floor is covered with such rug?

I do not feel comfortable at my living room, why? Have no ideas. The floor is covered with same rug, there is 2 black leather chairs, and a grey fabric sofa. The wall colour is yellow (facing me) and brown at right side, and left side is all window.
Would you kindly guide me to bring comfort and light to my living room?

* There is a building just in front of my place that has blocked the sunlight, so I need to bring light to my place as well.

To be honest, it sounds like you have a great start. This would be my suggestion for such a space/furniture. The rug itself is very strong and graphic, so it should be the biggest statement in the room. If you want to brighten the space, use lighter colors on the wall. Since your furniture is black and grey, I would pull a soft grey onto one wall, and use the soft green or light blue from the rug for the other walls.
