Hi everyone - This is disappointing as I've forgotten how to load pic's from Photo Bucket and I don't seem to be able to load pic's via the "photo button" below as I have previously. Any suggestions (In simple non-technical language please)

To use a PhotoBucket pic-

1. Click on the camera icon.

2. Copy the "Direct Link" from PhotoBucket (with a .jpg URL) and paste it in the File Name

3. Hit "Open".

I've found it can take Houzz 2-3 minutes sometimes to actually finish the job.

Here's your very nice pic.

Hi everyone.

tj - I would like to be able to post pic's using the facility provided by this site. I've used it before but recently it hasn't worked for me and I don't know why.

I think posting pic's through Photo Bucket is too time consuming as first they have to be loaded onto photo bucket and frankly I prefer some of the other sites where you can bypass this step in the equation. I love sharing my pic's, but time's too valuable at my age to waste fiddling around with different picture loading sites.

If someone can just explain (in simple language please for a computer illiterate old fart) how they post their pic's using the facility on here it would be much appreciated.

It may be the site I'm having a problem with or it may be my computer. If you could tell me step by step how you use the Forums picture uploading facility, I would be forever grateful. as it would help me identify where the problem is.

Sorry Nev, I thought you wanted to know about PhotoBucket.

For pics on your computer you may not be in the right place when you hit the camera icon, so click on "Pictures" on the left side of the box that pops up. Then navigate to the folder that has the pix you want to post. Once you are there, just click on an image and that should put it in the "File Name" and then click on "Open". The next time you click on the camera it will default to that same folder.

Hi everyone.

tk - I did as you said (which incidentally was what I was already doing) but the pic still didn't load. The problem seems to be with the Photo icon button (camera) which seems to be working OK and does everything but load the picture.

I followed your instructions and clicked on an image as you suggested and next time I clicked on the Photo icon button (camera) it did default to the same folder but still doesn't load the pic.

I'm beginning to think the problem may be with a "Gremlin" in my computer but having said that, I'm still able to load pic's on several other sites I visit daily.

It is disappointing not to be able to share pictures.

I have had it take several minutes sometimes if Houzz is busy. If you click the "Open" after you put the File Name in and it goes gray, wait 2-3 minutes to see if it worked.

We all want to see those pix!
