Byron Beauty, Inspiration, Temptation, and crosses between these all flower well at a small size, have large fragrant flowers, and are attractive to Gulf Fritillary butterflies for me in central Florida.

I have a red form that never flowered at all until it climbed to the top of a cabbage palm lol Doesn't bother me BUT the palm is in the neighbors yard . Since the house sold I'm guessing the pass will have to golol

They are hybrids. The red you have is most likely vitifolia. Blooms primarily late fall, winter, and early spring.

The red has been ID"d with various names but I got the original as a cutting so who knows?? lol For me it flowers year around IF allowed to lengthen seldom flowers on the fence .Always grows straight up also and if the tips are cut will abort all flowers along that stem , Makes it really tough to control

From posts I'm reading on the florida forum seems to be a common experience for many of the passiflora
