Nice...was a good year for growing melons, are you growing watermelons under the plastic?

Yah but it gets to hot and they get heat damage. I built a box lined with plastic that I can open the front on .these didn't get as big as they should have. I put 8 plants in to small of a spot in the planter and they must have stunted them a bit. Next year I will on,y put one or two in that spot.

Our pumpkin was put inbetween my plums and it grew bigger than 15ft .the pumpkins did get full size for what variety they were.

We tried a Dill's Atlantic this year, got 2nd place for 68lbs at the local fair!

Those are huge. Would love to get some that grow this large .my kids loved growing the pumpkins they would check everyday .we bought a babybear plant from Walmart for $2 they produce 1-2lbs pumpkins .

How long ago did that pumpkin start to grow from a flower. I had to wait till like mid August for any to even pollinate.

It set around july 1st, and was cut at the end of september. Not bad for only 3 months. If we try again, I'd like to try a greenhouse environment... It got set back a couple of times from hail.
