What the what? Ever since Houzz, pics keep vanishing. Here it is again. I posted it in lawn care, too. My mother says it is called Creeping Charlie, and is a weed. I still think it is pretty, and willing to grow where grass often fails, so?

If you like it, it's your groundcover, not a weed. If you hate it in the lawn, as I do, it's a horrible weed.

Well, sometimes, in the immortal words of Stephen Stills, you gotta love the one you're with. I'd much prefer grass, but that stuff is embracing several dead zones that grass has refused to cling to. So far as what it is, I'm still flummoxed. I crushed some in my hand, and there is no mint smell -- which Creeping Charlie is said to give off.

Try looking up lawn pennywort, Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides. See if you can find some fruits on your plant, if it's the pennywort the fruits would be more or less spherical clusters of seeds.
