We have two lower mid century modern chairs with back heights of 31 inches and are considering a couch with a 36 inch back height. We are debating if the sizes will look too disparate? Is there a standard recommendation b/w seat back heights? actual seat height for the people sitting is about the same. These two chairs are opposite a coffee table and the couch.
