The colors look great together, but I agree with Maureen that it's too small for that area.

I don't think wall scounces would be the thing to try to fill the wall with. What I would do is move on chair to another location so you just have the table and chair, and then the painting would work there.

If hung fairly low, it will work but a thought....can the chairs moved to the left, so you have more space as you come down the stairs into the room? But if you have room, could they work facing your couch, for a better/cozier seating arrangement and then add a console table on the other wall with your art. If art will be located there, it might be nice to add small prints behind couch and even around on the wall on the right for fun - it would make for a great corner.

You might be able to find something narrower, but the one you have isn't that big. See what you can find.

Another option would be to try to find another picture that is similar so you could group them together.

HI -- Are you picking the Art just for the colors or do you like it ?? Your furniture is traditional and the Art is somewhat modern so I'm thinking you picked it for the colors . It is too small but if you added a traditional style frame then that would look better . But this also depends on where you want to hang it too. Your furniture looks like it is too big for the room ... can you show more views of the room. The colors look fine but then again you should not choose Art just because of the colors .

Looks as if the one chair is blocking the step down into the room. If that's the case, I would move one chair into another room in the house. Love the colors!
