Renters bathroom nightmare

So I recently rented a new house and the house is GREAT! Except for the scary bathroom...how can I make this work with out costing me enormous amounts of money and ripping it all apart (I am renting after all)

Go for a Hollywood Glam look since you have the crystal lights and the marble counter. Paint the cabinets with black enamel paint and change the hardware to something sparkly. I recognize the 1970's electric outlet - my mom had them throughout her house. You can change that, the TP holder and even the faucets. Add a potted white orchid to the counter top, big white luxurious towels will soften it up. The landlord may reimburse for the new installations. I always got landlord's to pay for my upgrades, because they improved the property so much. Sometimes I just "sold" them to him when I moved out, so save your receipts.

The toilet is green too! Thankfully it's not carpeted lol!! PLEASE HELP!!

Will your landlord allow you to paint the cabinets white? You really can't do much to change things without agreement from the landlord. Who knows, maybe they would be willing to provide some $$ to change the vanity, countertops and sinks.

I Can paint walls, cabinets etc! Thank you for the tips to talk to the landlord about $$ back for reno's...the green toilet, counter and tub is what concerns me most...if I can't change that, what do I do?

Just painting the cabinets & walls will make you feel better. Don't worry about what you can't change. It is part of the fun of being a tenant - making lemonade from lemons.

You didn't show them to us. What green are they? Avocado was big in the '70's.

I would think landlord would only be up for a paint change (vanity!). Black probably, as suggested above.

We still haven't seen the green toilet, but here's some black and green inspiration in malachite. Very glam!

I would def go Hollywood glam, maybe add curtains over the shower and windows in something shimmery for added glam, fluffy ivory rugs and towels ,glass apothecary jars with nice ivory soaps anything fru fru would help
