You could roll it up, but I will be honest with you. I just bunch it up and drag it over out of the way and let it lie all winter in the grass along the fence. I do drain them. Occasionally I get a hole from something chewing on them, but it is few and far between. The year I tried to roll it up, it took a long time, and it was hard to get it in a tight roll. It wasn't worth my time.

Last year I went and retrieved 10, 250 foot pieces of drip tape from my abandoned 1/2 acre field at my parents farm. I pulled it to the edge of the field the year before that. It sat there for 2 years. Still good, had a few holes, but I ran out of drip tape and couldn't wait to buy and have a new roll shipped.

I usually use the stuff for 2 years too, sometime 3 years. I alternate brands, as they usually put different colored lines on the them. They are blue or white. When I am putting out white drip tape and come across a white piece, I know it is two years old and usually trash it or test it out first. Same thing with the blue.
