Please share your opinions about rose Diamond eyes. I am about buying this rose. Is the scent so strong? How long is blooming period?


Is it worth of buying?

    Diamond Eyes was new for me this spring. I'm growing it in a large pot, and it has grown and filled out very nicely. It does blackspot here if not sprayed. It has bloomed pretty consistently for me all season, but not heavily in the heat. Fragrance is nice & strong :) Color was extremely dark & smoky in the spring, but brightened considerably in the heat of summer. I know Nanadoll (Diane) did grow this rose, and as far as I know, still does. I'm not sure that she checks the mini forum, so you might want to post your question on the regular rose forum. She will probably see it there and comment with more growing experience with the rose than I have. Here are some pictures of mine.
