This solution was actually rather simple. The wood (teak), consists of several pieces that are mounted on and adhered to the wall, leaving a "doughnut hole" in the middle. The mirror is set on blocks, and adhered to the wall as well, using the "doughnut hole" to get that direct attachment to the wall. Hope this helps.

Can you tell me about the vanity/sink/counter? Is that a wall mounted sink with two pieces of wood on each side? Or is that all one piece? What type of wood and how is it sealed? It's very cool. We are looking to do something very similar to this.

The sink and lavatory top are part of a set, made by Lacava. The teak finished lav top comprises two pieces. I am not sure if it is made anymore, but see here for more information: http://www.lacava.com/collection/FURNITURE/WALL-MOUNT%20VANITIES.

Where did you purchase the teak? Is it also teak for the boards along the ceiling and around the shower? Do you not have to worry about it getting wet and rotting? Thanks!
