How deep is the bar top? What about the prep counter? And how much space is there between prep counter and back bar. Thank you!

    Hi!

The bar top is 18" deep and there is 36" between the prep counter and back bar.

We hope this helps! Thank you for your interest!

Hi! Thanks so much -- I love your design and materials! We are building a smaller scale bar area...Just to make better use of some "dead space" in the center of a room. I believe the dimensions for depth between bar and back wall will be 33" as we are trying not to protrude too far into a trafficked area of the room. We have room to go 36" but think it might be too much room since there is no back bar, just a wall....Do you think 33" of free space is ample? The Bar top itself will be 16" and the prep counter will be 15". Do you think we should go to 18" for the top? There will also be a return on the bar top of about 60" by 16" (similar return for prep counter).. Any additional thoughts on the dimensions is greatly appreciated!! (bar top is 42" high). Thank you again for your advice!!!

    Hello again!

33" of circulation space should be sufficient. A basement bar functions differently than a kitchen, per say, so there typically will not be more than two people in that circulation space, compared to multiple people moving around in a kitchen. 16" for the bar top is plenty of space to set a drink and elbows, or use as a serving counter.

    Good luck with your remodel!

I love the color scheme and would love to know the paint color of the cream on the walls that goes so nicely with the stone and dark wood.
