We recently bought a live edge dining table and found some chairs at pier1 with a soft blue damask pattern that we fell in love with. After coming home we realized the chairs are too wide to fit 3 on one side within the 63" distance between the table pedestals and we really wanted to have seating for 6-8.

Question 1: I am assuming we should look for new chairs - that are 20" width or less but just wanted to confirm from others that having the chairs not be able to tuck in would be inappropriate - right?

Question 2: Any recommendations on elegant slim side chairs that might go with this table where 3 would fit in the 63" space between the legs?
